* CfA Calls on FDA to Seize Website Domains Promoting Dangerous and Unproven “Abortion Reversal” Medication: On May 20th, CfA submitted a letter to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requesting that the agency seize the websites of any entity improperly marketing an unapproved procedure known as ‘Abortion Pill Reversal.’ (Press Release ([link removed]) )
* White Supremacist Groups Are Thriving on Facebook: On May 21st, CfA and TTP published a report revealing that dozens of white supremacist groups are operating freely on Facebook, allowing them to spread their message and recruit new members. This is despite Facebook's stated policy that such hate groups would be banned on their platform. (Press Release ([link removed]) , Report ([link removed]) )
* Inside Facebook’s years-long effort to influence state prosecutors: On May 27th, CfA and TTP published a report outlining how Facebook has spent years quietly cultivating state attorneys general across the country, developing relationships with officials who are now playing a prominent role investigating the social media giant. * Doctors sue to block FDA abortion pill rule during pandemic: "A group of physicians has asked a federal court to suspend a U.S. Food and Drug Administration rule that requires patients to visit a hospital, clinic or medical office to get an abortion pill." (ABC News ([link removed]) , May 28)
