Peek-A-Boo!

Who’s that poking out of the pouch? Adori, a koala at the San Diego Zoo, recently welcomed a female joey. After spending some time growing in mom’s pouch, this little one started peeking her head out to explore. Her arrival is the perfect way to commemorate a century of koala care and conservation at the Zoo and our transformative partnership with Taronga Conservation Society Australia. We’re honored to share that in celebration of 100 years of collaboration, Taronga has named the tiny marsupial Inala, which means place of peace or rest.
