Democrats won critical victories here last year, including in our race for governor, with your support — but Republicans have undermined us at every turn.

While my administration is working hard to deliver for North Carolinians, Republicans are working hard to try to overturn the will of the voters when they elected Allison Riggs to our state Supreme Court. Riggs, the Democratic candidate, has won three recounts, but the Republican persists in trying to throw out lawful votes to shrink the electorate to his advantage. It’s offensive and, frankly, outrageous.

It’s clear that we’ll have to be ready to fight their anti-democratic efforts in every election to come.

My team and I are continuing to work hard so that Democrats have the best possible chance at winning in the face of Republicans’ underhanded electioneering, and I know I can rely on you, John.
