Friend,

This week, the entire Michigan GOP delegation in the U.S. House voted yes on their disastrous, Trump-endorsed budget reconciliation bill with deep spending cuts that could potentially cut $800 billion from Medicaid.

This would be the largest cut to Medicaid in U.S. history and targets 65% of their constituents who rely on Medicaid for health coverage.

Trump and House Republicans are taking money out of the pockets of hardworking people and harming their health care so they can give it to their ultra-wealthy donors.

Michigan Democrats are working hard to help Michiganders keep money in their pockets by lowering costs, making healthcare more affordable, and holding Republicans accountable for their billionaire cash grab.

Now, it’s up to us to make sure voters know that while Trump and his billionaire buddies continue to target working families, Michigan Democrats are the ones fighting back to defend them.

You can fuel the critical work we have ahead of us as we hold these billionaire-backed Republicans accountable. Make a contribution before our end-of-month deadline so we can stand up and fight back to protect working families.
