I know you’ve heard me say this before, but one of the parts of running for President that I hate is asking for money, especially right now.

During these uncertain times, I know you’ve got more on your mind than donating to a political campaign. So, I want you to know that even though you’re getting a lot of emails like this, it’s more than okay if now isn’t the right time for you to donate.

But if you are able to give, I would greatly appreciate your support right now. Our team has a big goal to hit before Sunday at midnight, and we need your help if we’re going to make it.

If it’s feasible for you today, will you pitch in $5 or anything you’re able to give to make sure we hit our target by Sunday night?

We’ve been working tirelessly over this month to ramp up our campaign operation into one that can defeat Donald Trump. You probably saw where my campaign manager, Jen O’Malley Dillon, released our victory strategy and spent over an hour sharing the plan with our grassroots team.

But look, carrying out this plan is going to take an enormous amount of resources, so we’ve got to keep our fundraising up.

The goal you’ve been hearing about is critical to ensuring we can hire all the folks we need to go up against Trump’s machine and win. And I’ll be upfront with you, we’ve got to hit our mark on this one.
