At this transformational moment in history, America’s future is hanging on the thread of a one-seat majority in the House of Representatives. Everything that we are getting accomplished for our state and country would not be possible if we hadn’t prevailed in November.

So for everyone who helped me get reelected, I can only say: Thank You. You put your personal touch on the future of California and of America. Your patriotic commitment to our cause is paying dividends of a kind we have never before seen.

And yet: the National Democrats, while in disarray in so many ways, know how to do one thing well: to target us very few “majority-making” members; channel enormous funds towards our opponents; institute a “permanent campaign” against us – and thereby seek to overwhelm our momentum, freeze our progress, and stall our victories.

It was mere days after we defeated Gavin Newsom’s “Deputy Secretary” that the Democrats placed me on their “target list” for the coming election cycle. They are not wasting a day in coming after us. Which is why our defenses need to be rock solid at this very moment.

This end-of-month deadline is a crucial test. Newsom, Pelosi, Jeffries, and perhaps even Kamala (who is considering a run for Governor) are watching closely. They will seize on any vulnerability, making our district the centerpiece of their plan to topple our House Majority. They would then replay their obstructionist playbook from the first Trump Administration.

Importantly: raising resources early will put us in a position of tremendous strength. There are two reasons for this. First, it will cause the Democrats to focus their attention elsewhere.
