MAGA extremists will not hesitate to deliver tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, even at the expense of those most in-need on essential programs like Medicaid.
And because of their eagerness to throw every day Americans under the bus, our most vulnerable populations — children, expectant parents, the elderly and the disabled — will suffer.
But they're not the only ones. If the folks who rely on Medicaid can't receive the care they need, we'll see disastrous consequences across our communities:
❌ Emergency rooms will become overcrowded.
❌ Nursing homes will be forced to shut down.
❌ The cost of health insurance will rise for everyone.
John, what MAGA extremists are doing right now is wrong. However, it will continue if left unchecked.
That's why now is an especially crucial time to stand with those not afraid to call out this clear attack on our people. My colleagues and I are doing all we can, but we must look at the bigger picture.
