Dear Ward 8 Residents,

Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser lifted the Stay-at-Home Order for DC. This decision comes as a result of a 14-day decrease in the new confirmed positive cases. Residents, please understand that this is phase one of reopening our city. We must continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings, and implement proper hygiene methods as the Public Health Emergency is still in effect.

Our city officials have strategically launched this phase one reopening with the safety of our residents at the forefront. Stay informed by reading today's Situational Update ([link removed]) and by visiting [link removed] ([link removed]) for the latest updates.

I am proud to serve the residents of Ward 8, continue to be safe and enjoy your weekend.
Regards,

Trayon White, Sr.
Councilmember, Ward 8
