Americans across the country have been donating less than ever to the electeds and candidates they might have traditionally given to. That’s understandable, as many of us are scared of the status quo and unsure of what the people we’ve been supporting are really going to do to stop an increasingly authoritarian Trump Administration.
Let me be clear, I am not going to sit idly by in the face of an attempted coup by oligarchs and right-wing extremists.
I have been on the front lines in my district and D.C. doing everything I can to bring attention to and stop the efforts of Trump and his cronies. From protesting outside of the institutions he is targeting to working in my district to help community members know their rights and know they have support, I am working tirelessly in the face of the headlines we’re all seeing. I am clear that the way we stop authoritarianism is by building a mass grassroots people-powered movement that is ready to mobilize to protect our democracy.
