This week, I took action to defend American sovereignty, protect our economy, and strengthen our national security. Here are five things I accomplished.

America First Budget: Tax Cuts and Fiscal Responsibility

I worked with President Trump to pass his Budget Resolution, cutting $4.5 trillion in taxes and slashing wasteful spending by $2 trillion over the next decade. This budget prioritizes economic growth, defends our energy sector, and eliminates Biden’s radical climate agenda.

Ending Biden’s Tax On Energy

I voted to repeal the Biden administration’s disastrous methane emissions tax, which was a blatant attack on American energy independence disguised as environmental policy. The tax penalized U.S. energy producers, discouraged domestic production, and offered a competitive advantage to foreign adversaries like China and Russia.

Ending the Border Crisis

The Judiciary Committee advanced critical legislation, including the No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act, ensuring that no terrorist sympathizers receive green cards or citizenship.

Defending American Industry and National Security

I held a hearing with the House Armed Services Committee on strengthening America’s defense industrial base to ensure our military has the production capabilities necessary to deter war. Our defense workforce and supply chains must be America-first, not reliant on foreign adversaries.

Fixing Our Federal Courts

The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet examined the crisis facing our federal judiciary due to the dangerous shortage of federal judges, which is delaying justice for American citizens.

Last December, my bill with Senator Cruz, the Federal Judiciary Stabilization Act (Public Law 118-203), converted ten temporary district judgeships to permanent status. I will continue to ensure our courts are fully and permanently staffed to handle criminal cases quickly and effectively.

I look forward to working alongside President Trump to continue undoing Biden’s failures, stop the weaponization of government, and hold China, Big Tech, and the deep state accountable.
