Hi John,

Here's a simple question that Susan Collins has tied herself into knots trying to avoid answering:

Will she be voting for Donald Trump?

By our count, she has been asked the question seven times, and goes into hardcore dodge-mode every time. Why is it so hard for a Senator to tell her constituents who she feels is fit to be President?

Tired of a Senator who can’t tell you the simple truth? Donate $20.20 to help the Maine Dems build the team to defeat Collins and elect Democrats up and down the ticket. [ [link removed] ]

In every other presidential election since 1996, Collins answered the simple question about who she supported. But this year, as she tries to run away from her record of backing Trump, she is refusing to even answer if she cast a ballot for the sitting president of her own party in the March primary.

But we know where she stands. Collins voted with Trump 94% of the time. Trump has already backed Collins’ reelection “100%” because he knows that she has been a critical vote on his priorities like the GOP tax bill that gave away trillions in tax breaks to corporate special interests, voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, and letting him off the hook during impeachment.

But even after all of that, Susan Collins is too scared to say that she supports Donald Trump.

Chip in $20.20, or whatever you can afford, RIGHT NOW to help us keep bringing the fight to Trump and Collins and elect Democrats up and down the ticket. [ [link removed] ]

Thank you,

Lisa
