Did you see this message, fellow activist?
We are under 70 days away from the voter registration deadline for the May 20th primary election. We are going to need your help to engage, activate, and mobilize voters to turn out and vote in these local, municipal and judicial races.
2025 is the year of the courts. Pennsylvania voters are powerful as Pennsylvania is one of only seven states in the entire country that votes for all judges/justices in partisan elections. Unfortunately, judicial elections are overlooked by the electorate in the Commonwealth. Typical voter turnout in odd-year general elections hovers around 27%, compared to the 2024 November general election turnout rate of 77%. Voter fatigue and apathy has been on the rise since 2022, and a concerted effort to ensure electoral participation in the important 2025 judicial races will be a necessity.
This year, three PA Supreme Court justices will be up for retention voting. One judge on the Commonwealth Court and one judge on the Superior Court will also be up for retention voting in November. Our appellate courts will likely hear cases concerning the constitutionality of our districts to ensure the Commonwealth’s Congressional districts are free from gerrymandering.
We are working to ensure that our centered communities across the Commonwealth understand the power of their voice and vote in this election.
Tonight is a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we are falling short. Will you help us fund our voter registration campaigns by rushing $25 or whatever you can before midnight? ([link removed]
Thank you,

Fellow activist,
The last day to register to vote for the May 20th primary election in Pennsylvania this year is only 68 days away, and with make-or-break elections on the ballot this year, we need to start NOW to ensure voters are ready to make their voices heard.
Here’s the thing: Democrats hold a 5-2 advantage on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, but that could change in November. The retention of three Democratic justices – Christine Donahue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht – will be on the ballot, and while these races often get little attention, they are shaping up to draw national attention as key battleground races in 2025.
We are already hard at work: After working alongside the affiliated organization New PA Project Education Fund to assist almost 50,000 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote since 2021, we are once again engaging Pennsylvanians on the importance of voting in every election - twice a year. But we need your help.
The next couple of months will go FAST. We are counting on your support as we reach out to eligible voters, centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth to mobilize them to turn out in the May 20th primary election. Help support our voter outreach campaigns by rushing $25 or whatever you can now → ([link removed]
