Is This Washington’s Pretext for a War with Iran?


Remember these early-2000s George Bush quotes?

“We will free the people of Iraq from the clutches of a tyrant and help them
build a free and peaceful country."

“The people of Iraq should be free… It is our moral duty to act on behalf of
the oppressed."

“Our mission is clear: to free the Iraqi people from the tyranny of Saddam
Hussein and to help them build a better future."

Reading those in hindsight is chilling. By advancing those sentiments, the
disgraced former president used the American ideal offreedom to justify killing
hundreds of thousands of civilians, destroying the lives, futures, and families
of thousands of United States troops, wasting trillions of dollars, and further
destabilizing the already turbulent Middle East. Your antennas should go up
whenever any politician deploys the same kind of rhetoric.

Plenty are. This week, over 150 lawmakers introduced a resolution to bring
freedom to Iran, embracing eerily similar language to what Bush used over two
decades ago.

The American people “are “looking forward to a free Iran in the very near
future,” Congressman Lance Gooden said.

“It’s not inconceivable to me that within the next few years, we will be
celebrating the liberation of Iran,” Rep. Tom McClintock chimed in, adding that
the Iranian regime has become a“supreme source of misery, injustice, and
oppression for its own people.”

“Now is the time” for change, Rep. Randy Weber also passionately proclaimed.

You Wanted All of the Epstein Files? Not So Fast…


You’re probably feeling disappointed if you hoped Thursday’s Epstein releases
would yield anything groundbreaking. Althoughthe names in his contact list are
interesting

, they do not come close to offering information that will lead to arrests or
the exposure of the notorious pedophile and his associates’ darkest secrets.
His friends are safe for another day.

There may be a reason behind the documents’ underwhelming contents. According
to Attorney General Pam Bondi, the FBI withheld “thousands of pages” of Epstein
information from her despite repeated requests for the full files. Why would it
do that?

Bondi demanded the Bureau turn over all documents by this morning. Whether

Volodymyr Zelensky Is Here


Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with Donald Trump today.

The event is centered around the leaders’ expected signing of their recently
negotiated mineral deal to reimburse the United States for its billions of
dollars of war funding. Although the agreement does not include security
guarantees for Ukraine, Trump and Zelensky are expected to discuss what
measures can be taken to assure Eastern Europe’s war stopsfor good once the
fighting finally ends.Trump expects Vladimir Putin to keep his word

after agreeing to a peace deal.

The American president has said the U.S. working on mineral extraction in
Ukraine would amount to “automatic security because nobody’s going to be
messing around with our people when we’re there.”

“It’s a great deal for Ukraine too, because they get us over there and we’re

WATCH: Vance Confronts Britain Over Free Speech Crackdowns


The White House hosted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday as part
of preparations for the Zelensky summit, but things between the two nations’
leaders were not all jolly good. Starmer and JD Vance sparred over Western
Europe’s ongoing free speech censorship during their on-camera Oval Office
meeting.

"I said what I said,” Vance remarked in reference to his scathing Munich
Security Conference speech <[link removed]>.
“Which is that we do have, of course, a special relationship with our friends
in the U.K. and also with some of our European allies. But we also know that
there have been infringements on free speech that actually affect not just the
British. Of course, what the British do in their own country is up to them, but
[it also affects] American technology companies and, by extension, American
citizens.”

Starmer responded by assuring, "We’ve had free speech for a very, very long
time in the United Kingdom, and it will last for a very, very long time," which

Democrat Senator Thinks Americans Want to Be Put Last


Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego ripped Donald Trump’s European policy during an
MSNBC appearance on Thursday, claiming it “does not reflect the values of
Americans.”

Gallego accused Trump of “basically turning the country’s back to an 80-year
relationship with Europe” and said senators who somehow “still believe that
NATO is a functioning alliance that is a force of good” need to be “reminding
people that what Trump is doing is not it does not reflect the values of
Americans and it does not reflect what we truly believe.”

What, exactly, does Gallego think U.S. citizens “truly believe”? Do they
“truly believe” they’re morally obligated to get ripped off by
disproportionately funding Europe’s defenses? Or that destroying Russia and
refusing to pursue peace should be Washington’s most important foreign policy
objective? We seriously doubt it.

Gallego added that “Russia, China, North Korea and all these other people,
all these other countries, are aggressors,” not-so-subtly endorsing the former
Biden policy of driving America’s top nuclear competitors toward an anti-U.S.

Mexico Sends Drug Dealers to America, But in a Good Way


More than two dozen drug cartel suspects from Mexico are in U.S. custody after
America’s southern neighbor decided to get ‘em out.

Mexican authorities deported the 29 drug trafficking suspects to the United
States on Thursday, signaling a commitment to cooperating with the Trump
administration’s ongoing border control efforts.

“For those of us who have investigated Mexican cartels for many generations,
this is truly a historical moment," former DEA operations head Ray Donovan
said. "We have never seen this many sent from Mexico to the U.S. in one day.”

The Mexican government flew the deportees into America, where Pam Bondi says
they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The roster includes
cartel members, foreign terrorists, and at least one charged murderer.Read more.

Joy Behar Launches Slanderous, Racist, Anti-Musk Attack. Does She Want to Get
Sued?


Apparently The View hates immigrants.

Host Joy Behar launched a vicious on-air attack against Elon Musk on
Thursday, calling the DOGE chief a “foreigner, foreign agent, [and] enemy of
the United States” and asserting that “he was pro-apartheid” because he grew up
in South Africa.

Pro-apartheid? That’s like saying someone from Germany is automatically
pro-Holocaust or declaring that everyone from Israel naturally supports bombing
civilians. Those assumptions, not Joy Reid’s firing and plenty of the
race-obsessed Left’s other obsessions, wouldactually be racist.

Surely ABC will immediately remove a bigot like her from The View, right?

A Moment in MAGA Time: What Should Go in America’s 250-Year Time Capsule?


Congress plans to bury a time capsule in honor of America’s upcoming 250th
birthday. First, its members must determine what should go inside. Many already
have thoughts.

A social security card. A Celsius can. A bottle of “good ol’ East Tennessee
moonshine.”

Those are just a few of the things lawmakers reportedly want to leave for
future generations to discover. With over a year remaining until a possible
burial ceremony, they are sure to brainstorm plenty of other ideas.

moment in history for a distant generation” and “reflect history deemed

ULTIMATE FBI: Kash Patel Wants His Agents to Train Like Champions


Donald Trump’s cabinet members are ushering in a new era of governance. It may
include UFC-trained FBI agents.

Kash Patel is reportedly pushing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship to
enhance the FBI's ranks through martial arts training, seeking to establish a
“formal relationship” with the MMA promotion company to help his thousands of
employees improve their physical fitness.

Donald Trump, a known martial-arts enthusiast, has called UFC "the roughest
sport I've ever seen.” The fighters “really go at it,” he added.

America’s FBI agents receiving training from people in that world sounds like

See You Later, Alligator


The golf course can be an unpredictable place. PGA Tour pro Billy Horschel
reminded us of that on Thursday.

Horshel had just finished the sixth hole at the Sunshine State’s PGA National
when he saw an alligator emerge on the course and a police officer
unsuccessfully trying to shoo it away. As a former University of Florida
student, Horshel knows a thing or two about Florida Gators. So he sprung into
action.

Armed with a 60-degree wedge, the golfer stared down, poked, and marched the
intruder back into his course-side pond. The crowd went wild.

Horshel ended his round with four birdies, one eagle, and one gator, shooting
a 66.

Commentary


The Epstein Story Matters. A Lot.


We would never insult your intelligence by entertaining the possibility that
Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. The government might think you’re imbecilic
enough to buy the suicide narrative, but we certainly do not.


How could anyone believe their story? Recall what transpired the night the
notorious pedophile “took his own life.”


Epstein was supposed to have a cellmate, but he just so happened to be alone
during his final living hours. There goes a would-be witness.


Prison guards were scheduled to check on him every 30 minutes, but the pair
assigned to his block fell asleep and left Epstein unmonitored for roughly
three hours. Two more potential witnesses gone.


And as the cherry on top, the two cameras recording Epstein’s cell
“coincidentally” malfunctioned, failing to capture footage of the high-profile
inmate’s sudden demise. Up in smoke go the most ironclad observers imaginable.


Only one of that trifecta’s events wouldn’t have meant anything. Mistakes can
happen, even in high-stakes environments. Two would have been shady, but not
necessarily conclusive. Coincidences are possible.But all three? And at the
same time? Come on. There’s no way.


Even the slightest ounce of common sense suggests the “suicide” was actually
a murder, leaving those engulfed with curiosity stuck wondering who may have
done it. That’s where the Epstein files come in.


While future DOJ releases are unlikely to conclusively expose any of
Epstein’s potential pedo-ring co-conspirators, they will definitely give the
public an idea of who could have had a reason to want the disgraced billionaire
dead. He knew a lot of things about a lot of people. Silencing him for good was
the only way to guarantee those secrets never went public.


One might think Epstein’s living situation would have protected him from
whoever sought to take him out. He resided at the Metropolitan Correctional
Center, known as the "Guantanamo of New York", a high-security prison in
America’s largest city. It was supposed to be among the most secure places in
the world.


But clearly it wasn’t. Whoever offed Epstein did it despite the government’s
best possible efforts to keep him safe. That means there is some force, or
likely forces, powerful enough to brush authorities aside like they’re nothing
if it ever really wants to. The people “in charge” couldn’t protect Epstein
from such a power, a man the public had a vested interest in keeping alive,
which means they certainly wouldn’t be able to shield you, either.



That’s why the Epstein files matter. If Americans can’t trust their leaders to
keep them safe, then who istruly in control of this country? As much as we hate
what the serial sex offender did, discovering who had it out for him could
unlock the answer.

This Day in History


February 28, 1844: The explosion on the USS Princeton. One of the Navy
warship’s guns self destructed during a Potomac River pleasure cruise, killing
six people, including Secretary of State Abel Upshur and Navy Secretary Thomas
Gilmer. President John Tyler was also aboard the vessel but suffered no
injuries. Tyler did not have a vice president, so his death would have rocketed
the United States into an unprecedented constitutional crisis. The disaster
killed more top U.S. government officials than any other tragedy in history.
