Light Night begins this evening! Plan your visit to ensure you don't miss out on the amazing installations and family-friendly fun.
There's so much to discover - you'll find free performances and installations across the city centre on both Friday and Saturday night, from 5pm-10pm. It's best to check by downloading the free *It's in Nottingham app [ [link removed] ] *or picking up a printed guide. The Nottingham Tourism Centre will be open until 8pm on both nights for up-to-date information, to collect a printed guide, or to get help downloading the app.
Plus, the Light Night Market will be on Smithy Row from 11am-10pm, featuring a hand-picked selection of street food and independent traders such as churros, jerk chicken, loaded fries and more.

Pre-book your car parking *before 12pm today* for £7 (saving £1 on the advertised evening rate) and enjoy a hassle-free experience. Parking is available for Light Night between 5pm - 2am. Simply enter your vehicle registration number when booking, and ANPR technology will handle the rest - letting you drive in and out with ease.Â

The tram group ticket is £10 (1 or 2 adults and up to 3 children). Applies Monday-Friday after 4pm and at weekends.
*Nottingham City Transport buses*
The £3 single fare cap is available on all Nottingham City Transport services. The NCT Grouprider ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) is £8.50 and allows unlimited all-day travel in the City Zone, or for £12.50 in the Outer Zone.
*trentbarton buses*
The £3 single fare cap is available on all trenbarton services (except for Red Arrow). The family zigzag ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) is £18 across trentbarton services.

More than 25 new acts have joined this year's Splendour Festival bill, headlined by Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Travis and Jake Bugg! The additional line-up now includes Starsailor, Cassia, Lucy Spraggan, Remember Monday, Set In Motion and more.
The Splendour, Confetti, On The Hill, and Comedy stages are back again this year along with three awesome new stages - The Bodega New Music Stage, Dance Stage and Day Fever Stage - for a weekend of live music absolutely stacked with crowd-pleasing hit songs.
Workshops and games for children will run throughout both days at the dedicated Little Splendours children’s area. With children under 11 given free entry, the festival is perfect for families and groups with younger members.
