There's just one week to go until Nottingham Light Night! Explore more than 35 light-based installations, activities and performances across the city centre. It's completely free and perfect for all ages, including families, culture vultures, and content creators.
If you haven't already, make sure to download the free It's in Nottingham app to plan your route and read more about the installations. You can also pick up a Light Night guide from the Tourism Centre and at key locations on the day, or download a PDF version here.
Accessibility Tours Join Meanderers for a creative tour of Nottingham Light Night! Participants of My Sight Notts and Nottinghamshire Deaf Society are invited to join this free tour and explore a curated selection of the installations across the city.
The tour has been planned in collaboration with My Sight Nottingham and Nottingham Deaf Society and aims to be an inclusive and enlightening (pun intended!) experience.
How to get to Light Night The £3 single fare cap is available on all Nottingham City Transport and trentbarton services (except for Red Arrow). There are also group tickets available on NCT and trentbarton buses and NET Tram.
If you're travelling by car, you can pre-book your parking at Broad Marsh Car Park for just £7 (saving £1 on the advertised evening rate) and enjoy a hassle-free experience. Parking is available for Light Night between 5pm - 2am. Simply enter your vehicle registration number when booking, and ANPR technology will handle the rest - letting you drive in and out with ease. Book by 12pm on Friday 28 February.

Visit the Nottinghamshire Archives for an evening of exploration into Nottingham’s past. Peek behind the scenes in the conservation studio, hop about town with an interactive map of the city, and view historic manuscripts dating back to 1155.
Bring your own precious photographs along for scanning and receive a digital copy while preserving them in the Archive forever. Plus, be the first to view the new exhibition commemorating five years since the first Coronavirus lockdown, featuring images added to the Inspire Picture Archive during the pandemic.
