And in turn Feb 27 2025 (today) determines whether or not a dem will win this race. Our performance on this key front determines this.

Hi friend,

We haven’t met yet but my name is Jackson McMillan. I am the finance director for Josh Weil, the Democratic nominee in the Special Election for Florida’s 6th Congressional District.

Republicans started this session of Congress with the smallest House Majority they’ve had since 1932. That majority shrank even further following Trump appointing multiple members of Congress to his cabinet - leaving their seats up for grabs in Special Elections. That was Trump’s biggest mistake.

The balance of House control now stands at just 217 (R) vs. 216 (D).

Myself (2nd from the left) with Josh and some of my teammates at the Volusia County Democrats Black and Blue Gala last weekend. Volusia County is among our most key counties to flip and we are proud to be working alongside their county democratic party.

My team and I are not taking this once in a blue moon opportunity for granted.

In the past two and a half months, myself and my team members have performed some of the best work of our careers. In two months we’ve built a program that has outraised what most Congressional campaigns accomplish in a two year election cycle.

The stats speak for themselves: $5,518,904 raised from 151,097 individual donors from every state in the union.

While impressive these fundraising stats are not enough to win. The smallest budget we could secure a win with is $10,000,000 and we are rapidly falling off track of hitting even that and time is running out (today we have just 33 days left until election day).

To reach that smallest winning budget we need to have raised an additional million by yesterday. We didn’t hit this, and now face a $481,096 deficit to get back on track.

Don’t let these daunting numbers deter you. $200k is an average day for us. $240k, the target we need to hit today and again tomorrow, is above average but we’ve had a handful of 240k+ days and I know we can hit it again today.

To help get us back on track all I need you to do is just chip in and make a contribution -- split with iVote Fund. I don’t care how much. Most people reading these do not give so I just need you to make any contribution. Can I count on you to chip in?

Thank you in advance for your support. I know we can get this fundraising program back on track.

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

DONATE

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
