Help us protect front line workers in the fight against COVID-19

Across the country, health care systems are facing a shortage of
critical supplies. And the number of health care professionals who
have had COVID-19 is growing by the day. The time to act is now.
That's why the American Diabetes Association® is doing all
we can to protect these front line heroes:

* We've successfully urged the FDA during this crisis to
help reduce exposure to the virus by expanding the use of remote
patient monitoring in hospitals-including continuous
glucose monitors (CGMs).
* Working with our partners, we've secured the donation of
25,000 CGMs to be given to hospitals across the country that are
in need.
* We've created a COVID-19 resource center specifically for
our professional community, to help them stay informed and
provide safe, effective care.
* We are advocating for $0 insulin co-pays to keep people with
diabetes safe and out of the hospital, and reduce the strain on
our health care systems.

Health care professionals play a crucial role in keeping our diabetes
community safe. We need your help to keep these front line
workers safe, too.
