In our latest report, “Hear Us, Believe Us: Centering African American Parent Voices in K-12 Education,” we uncovered an important gap—nearly 50% of Black parents couldn’t name organizations that could help their children receive a high quality education. And 93% of Black parents said that they wanted more opportunities to be involved in their child’s education and more input into education laws.
