Dear John,

We hope you’re staying safe and healthy, and that you were able to enjoy time with your family over the Memorial Day weekend.

You’ve probably noticed that Public Discourse has been publishing a lot of articles focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal has been to provide a forum to discuss the cultural ramifications of these times and to help our readers think through the difficulties and opportunities they present. But, after two and a half months, we have a feeling that some of you may be experiencing COVID fatigue.

Now is a great time to dive back into PD’s archives. We’ve got a treasure trove of great content from some of the most thoughtful writers of our day.

To help you make the most of this resource, we’re introducing a new feature: a monthly email reflection from PD founder Ryan T. Anderson, paired with a curated collection of articles on a specific topic. A central part of our mission is to host reasoned, respectful, and rigorous debates on the most important topics of our day, so you can expect to find a range of compelling arguments on questions that demand prudential decision-making. You can find older collections on our website here, and you can expect to find Ryan’s first monthly installment in your inboxes this Sunday.

Happy reading!
