Tomorrow is set to be the last day of the VA session, which means we are officially moving on to the next step in the fight to enshrine abortion rights in our state constitution.

Here is what happens next:

FIRST: In November 2025, Virginia voters will head to the polls to elect a Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and the entire House of Delegates. The outcome of these elections will be critical in determining the future of reproductive rights in the state.

THEN: If pro-choice leadership remains in control of the House of Delegates, the General Assembly will vote again on the two joint resolutions. If they pass a second time, the amendment will proceed to the next stage without needing the Governor’s approval.

FINALLY: The proposed amendment will appear on the ballot in November 2026, and voters will have the final say in enshrining reproductive rights in Virginia's constitution.

We are just in the beginning stages. It will take two full years of dedication to pull this off, and we need your help.
