John,
Elon Musk isn’t content with dismantling the structures of our federal government: he’s meddling in state races too.
Elon backs a dark money group that just committed to spending $1.6 million to elect a conservative to the Wisconsin Supreme Court next month, a position that will undoubtedly impact future federal elections and issues like reproductive rights.
Wisconsin still has an abortion ban from 1849 on the books, and this court will likely determine whether that ban will be enforced.
What’s more, this court will very likely hear cases around voting rights and congressional maps, hugely consequential issues impacting the 2026 midterms, the 2028 presidential election, and 2030 redistricting efforts.
Our work to win these elections has already begun—and we need your help.
We cannot afford to miss a single opportunity to win back power, which is why our team already has several 2025 wins to celebrate, and it’s why we’re not slowing down any time soon.
We’re all hands on deck to win this race in a few short weeks— and if we didn’t have momentum behind us, Elon wouldn’t be pumping so much money into the race this late in the game.
There’s no such thing as an ‘off’ year. Thank you for staying with us as we gear up to win critical state and local elections in the months ahead.
In solidarity,
Sara Tabatabaie
