Dear Illinois Republican Family,
Following the budget address in Springfield, one thing is clear—Governor Pritzker is more focused on his political ambitions than the well-being of Illinois families. His speech was nothing more than grandstanding and hypocrisy, filled with empty promises and reckless spending proposals that do nothing to address the real challenges facing our state.
While President Trump is leading from the front—slashing government waste and cutting spending to ease the tax burden on American families—Governor Pritzker continues down the opposite path. He proposed yet another bloated budget built on unrealistic revenue projections, all while misleading the public about President Trump’s record in a desperate bid to raise his national profile. Instead of tackling the issues at home, he’s using Illinois as a stepping stone for higher office, leaving behind a state struggling under high taxes, rising crime, and failing schools.
Here’s the truth about President Trump’s unwavering stand with Israel and against anti-Semitism in this country: Pritzker must not have gotten the memo regarding President Trump’s executive order two weeks ago outlining a broad federal crackdown on “the explosion of anti-Semitism” in the U.S., especially on college campuses. The executive order cites “an unprecedented wave of vile anti-Semitic discrimination, vandalism, and violence.” While President Trump is taking decisive action, Pritzker is busy slandering Republicans to distract from his own failures.
Serving as Chair of the Illinois Republican Party is one of the greatest honors of my life. Every day, I am inspired by the strength, resilience, and dedication of Republicans across this great state—people like you, who refuse to back down in the face of adversity and who believe in a better future for Illinois. Together, we’ve already achieved so much this year. We’ve exposed the failures of JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson, holding them accountable for their reckless policies. We stood with President Trump as Illinois Democrats tried to obstruct his agenda. We fought back against Pritzker’s radical sanctuary policies that have drained resources from hardworking Illinois families. And we’ve made sure that Brandon Johnson’s incompetence—reflected in his humiliating 14% approval rating—does not go unnoticed by the media or the public.
While we should be proud of what we’ve accomplished, we must keep our eyes on the challenges ahead. Pritzker continues to play politics instead of solving the real problems facing Illinois. Families are struggling under higher taxes, rising crime, and failing schools—yet instead of addressing these crises, Pritzker is threatening to raise taxes even more. Meanwhile, Brandon Johnson is doubling down on Chicago’s sanctuary city status, ignoring the crisis that his policies created. The good news? The people of Illinois are waking up. They’re seeing through the corruption, the incompetence, and the self-serving ambitions of these politicians. They know that when crime skyrockets, when businesses flee, when families suffer—it’s because of leadership failures at the very top.
As Democrats struggle to define their identity after devastating losses last November, the party is being pulled in numerous directions—all bad for Illinois residents. On one hand, Brandon Johnson wants to further destroy Chicago’s credit rating, which would create havoc throughout the city. On the other hand, Comptroller Mendoza, a known Madigan protégé, is pledging to keep the status quo in Chicago public schools while she ramps up her political ambitions. No matter how you slice it, Illinois Democrats' priorities and positions are disastrous for Chicago families and the future of the city. If only there were a program—one not dismantled by Mendoza and Pritzker—that provided kids in under-resourced communities with school choice.
Illinois is worth fighting for, and I am honored to stand with you in this battle. Thank you for your support, your dedication, and your belief that we can and will take our state back.

We also reviewed the voting records of all commissioned Republican election judges in the City of Chicago, suburban Cook County, St. Clair County, and East St. Louis. Alarmingly, many of these so-called Republican election judges have a history of voting in Democratic primaries. This is unacceptable. We must do a better job of ensuring that our Republican election judge positions are filled by committed Republicans who uphold our values.
We need all eyes on the ballot. It’s critical that Republicans step up as poll watchers to safeguard the integrity of our elections. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact CJ Parker.
