My name is Perry Lott, and I was exonerated in 2023 with the help of the Innocence Project after 30 years of incarceration. Before I ask you to make a generous donation to the Innocence Project, I want to tell you more about my story.

In 1987, I was accused of rape, robbery, burglary, and bomb threatening. And despite the absence of physical evidence connecting me to the crime, I was wrongfully convicted. I spent over 30 years in prison for a crime I had nothing to do with, John.
When I was exonerated, it felt like I was making history not just for myself but for anyone who has been held without cause. These cases have real people with real stories behind them, and they’re all counting on your support to help restore freedom in their lives.
