We have fair warning that agitators and zionist "counter-protesters" might show up. ?If bad faith actors crash our event, we strongly recommend all attendees stick to the following protocol. ?(FYI These tips apply to all SacDSA direct actions):

1. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH BAD FAITH ACTORS, DO NOT APPROACH COUNTER-PROTESTERS! If agitators approach you, ignore them. Do not respond to their attempts to bully you for a reaction. ?Also, while it might be tempting to troll zionists, do not approach them or leave the contingent! Stay on your side of the protest! ?Approaching agitators not only validates them, it puts your life and the lives of the whole collective at risk.

2. ?IF YOU BAD FAITH ACTORS APPROACH THE PROTEST, FOCUS ON DEESCALATION! ?Real life is not a social media comment section. ?Engaging in shouting matches with bad-faith actors only fuels the fire and puts the safety of yourself and the collective at risk. Talk people down, keep your cool, and keep everything calm for the safety of your comrades!

3. ?WEAR YOUR KN95 OR YOUR SURGICAL MASKS! ?Masks don't just protect you from flu, colds, and COVID-19, they can also protect your identity in case agitators try to get you on video. ?Video doxing is a very common tactic for fascists, prepare yourself accordingly.

4. STAY IN A GROUP WHENEVER POSSIBLE! ?There is safety in numbers, try to show up and leave the protest in pairs or a group. ?And as mentioned in protocol 1, STAY WITH THE CONTINGENT! If you leave the contingent at any point, try to let at least one person know when and where you are going.
