Team — Whenever I check my inbox and read through the fundraising emails (yes, I get them too 🙄), I see a lot about how Democrats need to take back the House Majority.

That’s actually why I wanted to reach out. Because the truth is, that ‘line’ isn’t a fundraising gimmick. Taking back the House Majority has never been more important.

Here’s why it matters:

Donald Trump and Elon Musk have proven there is just no line that they’re unwilling to cross… even if it’s illegal.

And right now, with a Republican-led House of Representatives, a Republican-led Senate, and a conservative Supreme Court, it’s clear very few are actually willing to hold the Trump/Musk Admin accountable. To call it alarming would be an understatement.

That’s why the 2026 midterm elections are so critically important. It’s our first chance to put an end to this mess.

Democrats are just a handful of seats away from being in the Majority in the House, so trying to take it back is our best shot at placing a check on Donald Trump.

But, even if Democrats do flip a handful of seats, we won’t be able to take back the House if we don’t defend the frontline of Democratic-held swing seats. That includes mine.

So, look: I know it may seem early to support a political campaign. But we can’t risk messing up this opportunity to add a layer of defense against Trump. It’s just too important.
