March is Brain Injury Awareness Month

The Governor of Texas has proclaimed March to be Brain Injury Awareness Month.

To commemorate the month, the Texas Health and Human Services Brain Injury Programs are hosting a weekly webinar series with the underlying theme of  *"Creating a Foundation of Resiliency and Recovery. Providing Support, to Grow and Connect." *These webinars are free and open to the public.

“Community Integration through Driving”

All traumatic brain injury (TBI) symptoms can greatly impact function and independence. This presentation will examine the impact a TBI can have on one’s ability to drive, the skills and strategies to assist in returning to driving, and various interventions.
