Email from Finchem for AZ Senate Hobbs' fake border security attempt     Hello John, Governor Katie Hobbs just announced a new border task force - without even consulting the sheriffs who will be on the front lines! This is the latest example of out-of-touch, weak leadership when it comes to securing our border and keeping Arizona safe. Sheriffs in Yuma and Cochise Counties are scratching their heads, wondering where this plan came from, because they certainly weren’t consulted. Instead of working with law enforcement, Hobbs is throwing $28 million of YOUR taxpayer money at a problem we already have solutions for! This is government waste at its worst. I have been fighting for REAL border security solutions - not bureaucratic overreach. Since taking office as your Arizona State Senator, I have already co-sponsored TWO critical bills to tackle immigration head-on: HB2099 – Strengthening the powers of the Governor and Attorney General to enforce immigration law. SB1268 – Requiring hospitals to report the immigration status of patients to address the strain on our healthcare system. But my fight is just beginning! My term is only two years long, and we need to ensure I stay in office to continue my vital work. Hobbs and the radical left are already gearing up to defeat me! If we don’t act NOW, Arizona will fall further into chaos at the hands of weak leadership.
