Learn how to be an effective advocate in our current political landscape
⚡EVENT ALERT⚡
Join us, Representative Melanie Stansbury, and Forward Together Wisconsin President Mandela Barnes, for a briefing on how Congress could destroy clean energy and climate programs this year—and what state advocates can do about it! We’ll share the tools needed to effectively defend key clean energy investments in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The conversation takes place next Monday, March 3 at 2 p.m. ET.

Hi friend,
While the Trump administration continues to prove they will illegally shut down federal programs, key climate and clean energy programs are also under threat from Congress.
Earlier this week, House Republicans narrowly passed their FY2025 budget resolution, which calls for slash-and-burn legislation that would threaten vital climate programs, including tax credits for clean energy, clean transportation, and energy efficiency. All to hand billionaires and corporations a massive $4.5 trillion tax giveaway.
Next up is the budget bill itself, and if the GOP succeeds in its efforts to gut the climate and clean energy programs, we could see devastating rollbacks to clean energy tax credits, job-creating incentives, and programs that help Americans save on their energy bills—all programs that voters overwhelmingly support.
Congress must push back against the administration’s efforts to stop lawful programs from functioning, AND defend those programs during the budget reconciliation process.
To dig deeper into what is happening and what we (and Congress!) can do to effectively advocate for the programs that are on the chopping block, we’re hosting a webinar on Monday, March 3 at 2 p.m. ET.
Have you, your business or organization, or your community seen benefits from clean energy investments in the IRA? You should join!
