This week, Republicans narrowly passed a budget proposal 217- 215 that would gut critical programs like Medicaid, all to give billionaires trillions of dollars in tax cuts.

This is a slap in the face to those struggling to afford basic necessities like healthcare, housing, and groceries, forcing them to sacrifice so that billionaires like Elon Musk can get richer at their expense.

I was proud to join every single Democrat in the House to oppose this proposal. As long as I’m in office, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let anyone attack hardworking Americans. The proposal now heads to the Senate, but I will never stop fighting for the working class and protecting critical social safety programs like Medicaid and Social Security.

As the chair of BOLD PAC, I won’t stop until we have a majority that prioritizes our working class instead of the ultra-wealthy.

The Trump administration is wasting no time lining the pockets of the ultra-wealthy like Elon Musk.
