As momentum builds at the Capitol, we are thrilled to share two exciting updates:

Earlier this afternoon, “The Riley Gaines Act” (HB267), sponsored by Rep. Josh Bonner, passed the full House Chamber by a margin of 102 - 54.

And, just now, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed “The Religious Freedom Restoration Act,” sponsored by Rep. Ed Setzler.

These are significant victories for the cause of families around our state!

“The Riley Gaines Act” protects girls from having to compete against boys in sports, protects their scholarship opportunities, and protects girls from having to share restrooms and locker rooms with males as well. This is a commonsense measure and we are so thankful for Speaker Jon Burns' leadership on this bill and his commitment to save girl’s sports in Georgia, as well as, each Representative who voted in support of HB267 today.

With the Senate having already passed their measure - SB1, sponsored by our friend, Sen. Greg Dolezal - the process will continue in each Chamber before ultimate agreement on language is reached. Frontline is proud of the work done by all of our friends in the General Assembly, and we will continue to work for the strongest possible protections for Georgia’s girls.

Despite the “Riley Gaines Act” being a commonsense measure, the radical left who can’t even manage to define what a “boy” or a “girl” is, has made us their #1 target by directly mentioning Frontline by name from the floor of the House!

Rep. Park Cannon believes that male students who identify as "trans" should be allowed to compete against your daughters and granddaughters and freely change their clothes and/or shower in girls’ locker rooms. She accuses our organization of “misleading” and confusing “sex” and “gender.”

Unfortunately, it is Rep. Cannon and her fellow proponents of gender ideology that have been misleading the public by promoting the falsehood that “sex” and “gender” are two separate things!

While we will continue to pray for those trapped in this lie, including those who attack us under the Gold Dome, we know that we are taking arrows from the radical left because they see us as a strategic force to be reckoned with.

Thank YOU for your faithfulness in helping grow Frontline to the organization the Left fears most in our state!

In the midst of being attacked for holding Christian values, Georgia needs you standing with us in this fight! Please consider giving a generous donation today to help us continue fighting for you under the Gold Dome. [[link removed]]

While this was just one of many times Frontline was attacked in recent days - including, specifically, for being a “Christian” organization - by legislators with a microphone, we see all-the-more urgency for swift passage of RFRA.

That’s why we are thrilled the Senate Judiciary Committee, for the second year in a row, passed the Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

We commend Senator Ed Setzler for his tireless work on this bill over the last couple years and also EVERY Republican Senator who co-sponsored this measure. And, yes, by every Republican Senator, we mean that the entire Caucus co-sponsored this bill!

Protecting religious freedom in Georgia has long been a priority of ours and today, we are one step closer to achieving this.

We are already over half way through the 2025 Session, so as this measure progresses through the process, your voice is needed now more than ever. We expect this bill to pass the Senate before Crossover, as it did last year.

Please call and/or email your House Representatives and encourage them to pass religious freedom in Georgia once and for all. As we have personally experienced, seen from some of the legislators under the Gold Dome, anti-faith bias is real, and we must ensure that the government is never given the power to trample on our most sacred right.

Standing on the Frontline,

Lauren Daniel
