The 2025 elections in Virginia are our first big opportunity to make a real difference since the current federal chaos. We must elect a pro-equality Governor and Attorney General and regain majority control of the House of Delegates. Fortunately, your Feminist Majority has a strong track record of organizing and winning in Virginia.
In 2019, our efforts helped flip the Virginia legislature, securing a Democratic majority for the first time in 40 years. This victory paved the way for Virginia’s historic vote to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. In 2023, we also mobilized young voters to prevent a Republican takeover of the state legislature. And in 2025, we must do it again.
This election is about more than just Virginia—it’s a national test. We’ve seen growing threats to democracy and personal rights. If we lose ground here, it will embolden those who want to roll back progress, silence voices, and undo the hard-won victories we’ve achieved.
