Dear Colleague,
The 30th anniversary of the Beijing Women's Conference is upon us. The Commision on the Status of Women (CSW) starting in a few weeks will test the resolve of the Trump administration on the question of gender ideology, a sacred cow in the halls of the UN. Trump negotiators are already causing the Europeans to pull out their already thinning hair. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. reports.
A new report by the UN Secretary General meant to affect the negotiations at the CSW is full of lies and obfuscations. It is an appalling example of how the left at the UN ignores the wishes of the Member States that have roundly rejected all of the proposition the Secretary General puts forth in this new report. The CSW is going to be wild and wooly. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports.
And we are happy to pass along the weekly report from our colleagues at the International Youth Coalition (IYc).
Spread the word. Be daring. Keep the faith.
Yours sincerely,
Austin Ruse
President

|
WASHINGTON, D.C. February 28 (C-Fam) As the UN prepares to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the landmark Beijing women’s conference, a new report from the Secretary-General raises a key question: are member states being asked to reaffirm what they agreed to in 1995 or an entirely disconnected and controversial agenda being pushed by the UN’s agencies?
