🆘 BREAKING NEWS: FOREIGN AID FREEZE

We are deeply alarmed by the latest news of the widespread termination of thousands of funding agreements from USAID and the U.S. State Department. The terminations threaten or cut off essential, cost-effective humanitarian programs that provide lifesaving assistance to millions of people in crisis around the world.

Vital humanitarian work has been disrupted—halting critical assistance for many vulnerable people around the world. This is directly impacting the International Rescue Committee's work to support refugee and displaced children and families who are facing devastating humanitarian crises and unimaginable daily struggles.

These changes threaten lives and livelihoods around the world. They also threaten the IRC: our programs, our services, our clients, our organization's critical work.

I know you wholeheartedly believe in this important work too, John.

That's why we are turning to you, a compassionate supporter, to ask if you can rush an immediate emergency gift right now. >>

🆘 U.S. funding cuts could shut down 40+ IRC nutrition centers across 7 countries, putting more than 10,000 young children at risk.

Children need lifesaving treatment to overcome and survive acute malnutrition, and any interruption to this care is life-threatening.

Malnutrition is relatively simple to treat. But we need your support to continue to deliver simple, proven solutions to children living in the hardest-to-reach places.

We cannot abandon children and families in need.
