House Republicans just passed the biggest cut to Medicaid and food stamps in American history to fund $4.5 trillion in tax breaks, mainly for Trump and his rich friends.

The only word for this budget is evil.

There are 72 million Americans who rely on Medicaid, and 42 million who receive food stamps. Many of them are working families who simply aren’t paid enough to put food on the table.

What we’re seeing is Robin Hood in reverse. Socialism for the rich, and harsh capitalism for everyone else.

But friends, this isn’t a done deal. People are already flooding town hall meetings to protest these cuts, and the margins for Republicans are slim.

Unfortunately, we can’t rely on mainstream media outlets like the Jeff Bezos–owned Washington Post to alert the public about what’s happening. So Inequality Media is using all of our social media platforms to sound the alarm, activate the public, and get out the truth.

Now we need to ramp it up. So I’m asking you today: Will you make a donation to help educate the public and stop the Republicans’ assault on Medicaid, food stamps, and other key programs?

Nationwide, Medicaid covers:

• 41% of all births
• 4 in 10 children
• 63% of all nursing home care
• 1 in 4 adults with disabilities
• Nearly half of kids with special needs

That’s what Republicans want to get rid of. So much for the “party of family values.”

Here’s the good news: These cuts are so massively unpopular that even Donald Trump refuses to defend them. He’s simply pretending that they don’t exist. Just yesterday, the day after Republicans voted to cut Medicaid by $880 billion, Trump claimed that Republicans “wouldn’t touch” Medicaid.

Of course he’s lying. He always lies. But he won’t get away with lying about taking health care away from tens of millions of people.

Consider: There are 17 House Republicans who won their elections by fewer votes than the number of people in their districts that will be impacted by the cuts to Medicaid. Passing this bill would be political suicide.

Our job is to alert the American people now, before it’s too late, to help stop these cuts from ever going into effect. But as a grassroots-funded organization, we rely on your support to power everything we do.
