Lesson 1: Ignore the background noise.
MAGA lies aren’t just exaggerations; they’re outright propaganda, designed to suck up media oxygen, distract the public from their sinister agenda, and redefine what's acceptable in politics.

Giving Trump and Elon’s ridiculous B.S. the attention they crave plays right into their hands. In 2025 and 2026, we have a new strategy: Ignore the noise and focus on the issues Americans want to hear about.

We’ll need effective public communicators to deliver a powerful message, and a pro-democracy media alliance to amplify it everywhere.

Lesson 2: Don’t bring a picnic basket to a battlefield.
In a normal political climate, decency and civility keep our democracy strong. But the current climate is anything but normal, and our opponents anything but civil.

Democratic Senators need to take the gloves off and exploit every tool at their disposal to save our Republic.

* Investigations , to expose MAGA corruption
* The filibuster , to force extended debates over every detail of a bill, gum up the legislative process, withhold confirmations, and stall Trump’s agenda
* The bully pulpit , to shape media narratives and remind Americans who’s to blame for their grievances

Lesson 3: Exploit Trump’s Achilles heel.
Trump’s Achilles heel is that everything he promised Americans on the campaign trail — magically low prices, a genius concept of a plan for healthcare, grocery shelves overflowing with cheap eggs — are unattainable fantasies he never intended to fulfill.

That’s why beating the drum about Trump’s failures every single day will allow us to chip away at his already-dwindling popularity and expose his lofty campaign promises for the lies they’ve always been.

It’s our job to keep rising inflation, energy prices, healthcare costs, and grocery prices in the news 24/7/365, and to make sure Americans know the blame lands squarely on Trump’s shoulders.
