Help preserve jobs and ensure reliable internet access in Arizona!

John,

The new FCC Commissioner, Brendon Carr, is advocating for the Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to move away from its preference for fiber technology in favor of satellite technology. We know that satellite options are generally less reliable and involve fewer jobs, with no union-represented satellite internet companies currently available.

We anticipate that Arielle Roth, the nominee for the NTIA administrator, may eliminate the fiber preference for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. It is crucial that we apply pressure to maintain fiber as the preferred option for BEAD funding.
