Hi John,
With the current chaos of the Trump Administration raging all around us, ongoing attacks on our climate and democracy happening seemingly everyday, many of us are wondering what we can do to fight back.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join Rep. Rosa DeLauro, House Appropriations Committee Ranking Member, and David Shadburn, Senior Government Affairs Advocate at the League of Conservation Voters, this Monday, Feb. 24, for an important discussion on the latest threats to our environment and democratic rights – and how we can take action.
One of the biggest challenges we’re facing is the Trump Administration’s egregious attacks on climate and democracy through an unconstitutional national funding freeze. This freeze is harming everyday people across the country, disproportionately impacting Wisconsin communities by undermining environmental protections and restricting public participation in the decision-making process. Clean water, clean air, and natural resources are all at risk. Now – more than ever – we must mobilize and push back.
This event will provide valuable insight into how we can contribute to the fight and how uplifting real stories of the human consequences of these attacks helps members of Congress push back. There will also be a Q&A with Rep. DeLauro, so submit your questions when you register or bring them with you!
