Please support our work today and help our team in Myanmar keep migrant workers safe as they travel home to their families. Migrant workers in neighbouring countries like Thailand have recently been left with no choice but to return to their hometowns in Myanmar as borders shut and work dries up. Our team in Myanmar have worked with these communities to set up testing and quarantining measures so that people can safely return home with travel permits which state that they don't have the virus. In some parts of Myanmar along the border with China, there are growing numbers of internally displaced people due to the job uncertainty that the pandemic has brought, among other factors. We're working with local authorities to ensure that food is distributed to those who need it in these areas, some of which are the most remote in Myanmar. Join us & show your support for a Robin Hood Tax! The money made from a small tax on the finance sector could be put towards reducing poverty & funding the NHS at this critical time.
