John,
Today is the policy committee cutoff day, and there are 44 days left in the 2025 Washington Legislative Session. That’s how many days our elected leaders have left to take real action on climate this year. And right now, action at the state level is more important than ever.
Climate action is people-powered in every way – and it depends on people like you that generously support our mission. [[link removed]]

As Director of the Field Team at Washington Conservation Action, I work to organize everyday people to speak up for their own interests.
This month, we held TWO in-person lobby days to let leaders know we care about climate action and protecting democracy. Hundreds of activists gathered in Olympia to make their voices heard during the 2025 legislative session!
When we take action like this, the people we elect are held accountable to pass laws that protect our health, reduce emissions, and improve our lives (instead of protecting corporate profits).
Providing people with a direct voice in politics is incredibly powerful--and it works. Washington has some of the strongest and most effective environmental laws in the country, because of the support of people like you – thank you!
When you join today, you are directly supporting the grassroots advocacy that is critical to advancing state-level action for the climate. [[link removed]]
