Over the past month, we’ve kept you updated on Josh’s efforts to help federal workers impacted by recent job cuts transition into essential state jobs.

Josh signed Operation Hire Hawaii to fast-track state hiring because we need great people now. With so many federal jobs being cut, the Green administration is committed to protecting our local workforce and retaining skilled employees in Hawaii.

We also shared news that the Hawaii State Supreme Court unanimously upheld a crucial ruling and $4 billion settlement, which will provide much-needed relief to the victims of the Maui wildfires. Governor Green has remained committed to standing with the people of Maui and delivering results for our communities.

Josh and his administration continue to deliver results for the people of Hawaii and making real progress on some of our biggest challenges, including lowering housing costs and reducing homelessness.
