House Republicans just passed a giant spending measure paving the way for all the worst parts of Trump’s agenda.

This $4.5 trillion package will let Republicans give huge tax handouts to billionaires and corporations, funded by nearly $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid.

And it doesn’t stop there.

If Republicans succeed, vital federal assistance programs on food, housing, and education will also face cuts.

Over the next few months, Republicans in the House and Senate will work out their plans to gut health care for American families and make it harder to afford groceries — all so they can give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations. Ultimately, the Senate and House have to agree on one plan.
