Dear friend,
This month we worked with our partners Centre for Young Lives, the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition and Young Minds on the Future Minds campaign, calling on the Government to invest in children’s mental health and unlock a healthier future. We shared a new briefing exploring how the actions of private companies can affect people’s mental health. And today we published a report exploring how early support for families living in poverty could have long-term wellbeing benefits across generations.
We recently shared a review of our anti-racism work so far and are dedicated to taking forward its recommendations. And we mark Eating Disorders Awareness Week with a blog from Hope Virgo on the fight for better treatment.
At the end of this week, Ramadan will begin, providing Muslims across the globe an opportunity to reconnect with their faith and prioritise spiritual wellbeing. This can be a time of peace and dedication but for some this also comes with increased pressure and struggle with managing daily demands.
We wish all those observing a blessed Ramadan.
