Gatwick's second runway has been given ministerial support today. And with the UK government also supporting bigger expansion plans for a third runway at Heathrow, it’s on the side of climate and community-wrecking airport growth.

Heathrow’s on-and-off expansion plans have gone on for years. With the support of people like you, we’ve challenged and delayed these plans whenever they’ve resurfaced.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ recent support for Heathrow expansion flies in the face of climate science and her own government’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

Your support now is crucial, as it was in 2020, when supporters like you helped us challenge Heathrow’s third runway in the courts and support groups fighting airport expansion locally. Our delaying tactics forced Heathrow to shelve its plans. Now, we need to stand together once more.
