With a new President in the White House – officially completing the Republican trifecta in Washington – many of our fundamental freedoms are sure to come under threat in new and outrageous ways. Each and every one of us – including you, John – has a role to play to ensure our rights and values are protected over the next four years.

That’s why I’m personally reaching out to ask you to support the DGA before their February end-of-month goal ends. Please, John – will you chip in $3 to help Dem govs continue delivering and stop GOP extremism? Anything you give today will be matched up to their $150,000 goal, until midnight tomorrow!

John, over the last month, Democratic governors have once again been forced to act as the last line of defense for our most fundamental rights and freedoms, standing up for everything from lower drug prices to stronger reproductive freedom.

Here in Michigan, I’ve strengthened protections for women, IVF, and surrogacy, and repealed Michigan’s extreme anti-abortion law – and last month, I signed a commonsense 16-bill package expanding access to contraception and reducing excessive barriers to reproductive health care.

We've shown what's possible when we stand together and refuse to go backward. But let's be clear, John: this fight is far from over.

It’s the shortest month of the year, and we can’t slack on our fundraising in the face of far-right threats to come – we need to meet this end-of-month goal.
