This is the mission of the Zinn Education Project: to teach “people’s history” to young Americans and give them the critical-thinking skills they need to create a better future.
In middle school and high school classrooms across the U.S., Zinn supplies educators with lesson plans, workshops and teaching materials that support the teaching of “history from the bottom up,” to give students a more accurate and engaging picture of our past.
