Yesterday, a reporter asked me a question on the steps of the U.S. Capitol:

If you could speak directly to Elon Musk, what would you say?

My answer was simple: F— off!

I don’t use profanity lightly. But we’ve got a problem here. Elon Musk is running the show in Washington. He is unelected, unvetted, and unconfirmed — and he’s been given the authority to refashion our government and democracy in his own horrifying image.

If Democrats are going to win back the majority, we need to speak truth to power. So I said what I said.

With the way things are going, it’s only a matter of time before Musk starts ignoring court orders and causes a constitutional crisis.

This is what happens when you put a conman and convicted felon into the White House… HE DOES NOT FOLLOW THE LAW.

We simply can’t sit on the sidelines and watch as he destroys our democracy.
