Hi John, Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen here — the Voter Protection Project said I could reach out. This week, I traveled across the country with my newborn son to vote against the GOP’s outrageous plan to rip away health care from millions of kids, seniors, pregnant women, and so many more — all so they can give tax breaks to their billionaire donors and friends.

Republican Leadership blocked my ability to vote remotely after giving birth to my son, Sam. It’s outrageous that they would force new parents to choose between caring for our newborn and representing our constituents — but absolutely nothing could stand in my way from being in the Capitol to vote against their cruel and dangerous bill. You better believe that I’ll be there — no matter how challenging it might be — when Republicans are trying to strip away critical programs like Medicaid and SNAP.That’s why I voted against the GOP’s plan to rip away health care, take food off of people’s tables, and make life more expensive for hardworking families — all so they can hand out trillions of dollars to billionaires and wealthy corporations.John, I promised that I would fight every day for regular families — and I’ll always be there to hold Republicans accountable when they’re hurting hardworking people. No matter what is thrown our way, I will do what’s right for the American people — but I could really use some support at this moment, because we know this won’t be the last of their attacks. Our team is powered by grassroots supporters like you, John, and every dollar makes a difference. If you could split a donation between our team and the Voter Protection Project, it would mean so much to me. ([link removed])

Thank you,

Brittany Pettersen
