Apply to Join the Los Angeles County Governance Reform Task Force!

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to join the Governance Reform Task Force to help guide the transition through the passage of Measure G. Applications due by March 7, 2025. To apply, please click here.

There will be an informational meeting about the Measure G Governance Reform Task Force application process on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Submit questions by Sunday, March 2 at 1 PM: bit.ly/GRTF-March-3. To stream the meeting, tune in here: youtube.com/lacountybos.

County on a street-by-street basis -- from San Fernando's efforts to improve groundwater infiltration to Paramount's doubling down on urban forestry programs.

Marina del Rey Dragon Boat Festival

Join the Los Angeles County Dragon Boat Club, in collaboration with the Department of Beaches and Harbors, for the Marina del Rey Dragon Boat Festival at Burton Chace Park! This free event will feature 40 local and out-of-state dragon boat teams and clubs competing to be the fastest team on the water. Enjoy arts and crafts, entertainment, and food truck fare. Paddlers between 12 – 80 years old will compete. Spectators are encouraged to cheer and watch the races from Burton Chace Park. For information, click here.
