John,
It’s the end of February – we’re nearly two months into a year that’s somehow already felt like five. But hey, it’s not all bleak! In just a couple of days, we will join our comrades from across the country and descend on Eugene, Oregon for one of the best weekends of the year.
The Public Interest Environmental Law Conference kicks off on Friday, and it’s anything but a snooze-fest. Come hang with the Breach rascals and co. as we celebrate and learn from an international panel of experts and activists about the environmental costs of war, our Memphis partners on a panel about fighting an xAI data center, youth climate activists on a panel about electrification, and Breach’s own Climate & Energy Attorney Nick Caleb on why lawyers shouldn’t be mercenaries for the fossil fuel industry. See below for panel times and locations.
On Friday night you can catch us enjoying the finest bluegrass in Lane County at the Pacific Northwest Forest Climate Alliance’s annual benefit party, and on Saturday we’ll be at the Outlaw Bash with these honkey-tonk weirdos. You can find fliers for both events below.
Looking forward to seeing you throughout the weekend!
The Breach team
