John, as Secretary of Education under President Biden, Miguel Cardona fought tirelessly for safer schools – ones free from the threat of gun violence.

Under his leadership, Sec. Cardona showed strong opposition to arming teachers and advocated for sharing information on proper gun storage – and his administration fought for common-sense gun safety laws.

Right now, the new administration is working to dismantle the Education department and roll back all its progress on gun safety, John. As we continue to fight back, we wanted to show our appreciation to those who fought tirelessly for a safer future.
